Hillcrest Mall – Common Area Renovation

Hillcrest Mall has undergone a complete transition since its current owners purchased the site. This modernization and improvement is a valuable and desired amenity for the growing and changing neighbourhood of Richmond Hill, and a key part of the Town’s vision for the future of the area. The last major piece of the work on the mall was a complete upgrade of the dated interior finishes, and an overall brightening up of the gloomy common areas. Work included selection of new floor finishes, the design of new tenant storefront criteria, new mall amenities, extensive painting, repairs and recladding of finishes throughout and replacement of all lighting with new, high-efficiency LED lighting. New furniture and finishes were also provided for the food court, keeping tenants in place and assisting with upgrades to storefronts.
